On our third and final day in Portland I decided to go for comfort all throughout. We did so much exploring on our last day plus went straight to the airport that night after dinner.
My incredibly soft John Deere t-shirt and blue and grey striped maxi skirt were the perfect combo for the level of comfort I needed all day, achieving a classic Portland look, and for the weather. It was a nice sunny day in the low 70's in the afternoon and then switched to rain in the evening. I also once again was mistaked for a native Portlander all day.
My hat made an appearance this day, and I kept my jewelry the same throughout the trip (my silver watch, two rings, and arrow bracelet). I also continued to use my Longchamp tote as my purse as it's perfect for carrying around my camera all day plus we went to the Portland Saturday Market, which I was able to stash all the goodies I bought inside my big bag.
The only downside to my entire outfit was my choice of shoes. They were brand new shoes and the only time I had worn them was the night before when we went out to dinner and drinks. I thought walking around in them all day was going to be the death of me. I was in so much pain by the time we got back to Chicago the following morning that I could barely walk. So word of advice, do not wear brand new flats out on a long day of exploring!
