Turkish food is delicious. The Turkish cuisine has a lot of spices and a lot of seafood. Get out of your comfort zone and try something new as you might not get a chance to try the dish anywhere else. Kebabs are a staple in Turkey and rightly so...they are delicious! This Mado location is walking distance from Khorsani Kebap Sultanahmet. If you follow the stairs all the way up to the top, then you will have a marvelous view of the Blue Mosque and the Hippodrome in the Old City. Enjoy your sweets from atop this cafe for what is seriously a magical experience.

The Hippodrome is from old Constantinople. The circle is in the middle of the biggest attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and the Cistern Basilica. Take a lap and see 1000s of years of history in the making. Make sure you bring a scarf to put over your hair if you plan on going within the Mosque area. You will not be permitted to enter the area without one as a sign of respect for the religious practice.
