J.Crew Boyfriend Blazers
J.Crew has been having amazing sales lately. I found these blazers on clearance + 50% off. It was mind blowing. I ended up getting each blazer for only $50. They are normally $200 each! Some things are just worth the wait :)

Ferrara's Bakery
Caleb and I found the greatest bakery of all time. It's called Ferrara's Bakery and it's located in University Village in Chicago. I think I was in my actual heaven when I was eating the cannoli and tiramius from there. I have vowed to go back there every single time I'm in the city now matter how out of the way it is!

Cute as a Button Nail Polish from Essie
I kind of slowed down on the beauty product front this month because I bought so much in June and I've been loving everything I've gotten still. However, I finally bought "cute as a button" from Essie. Not only am I obsessed with the name but the color is so perfect for summer! It's a bright pink with a hint of orange in it. It really pops against any outfit and it actually stays on my nails! No more chipped nails for me! At least for a few days ;)

Hand Painted Letters from Anthropologie
We finally got something to put up on the wall in our dining room! At the beginning of July we were up in Milwaukee for Summerfest and before the concert we decided to explore the area. They had an Anthropologie in the Third Historic Ward, so of course we had to go browse. They were having a huge clearance sale with 15% off the marked down price. We found the D, C, and & up there but it just didn't feel complete. We decided we would look for a W for Wrigley when we got back home and the Lakeview store in Chicago ended up having one! So, we drove all the way out to Lakeview to pick up Pup's letter. Each letter only ended up being about $20, so in the end it ended up being the same price you'd pay for a cheap painting. The greatest part about them though is they were originally $50 each. Yeah...we struck gold again on the sale front! They unfortunately don't have our exact ones anymore online, but they do have similar ones that are also only $20.

Chicago Bookstore Day
It's been a good "reading" month. As you all know from my Bossypants post I'm currently reading The Last of the Mohicans, which is a very long and dense book. So I don't have a favorite book of the month per say since I've already used up my favorite card on Bossypants when I bought it back in May, and I haven't finished The Last of the Mohicans yet...but I'm going to make our bookshelves my favorite of the month in this category. On July 12th, it was deemed Chicago Bookstore Day here. Caleb and I being as obsessed with books as we are plus always wanting to support local bookstores decided we would "celebrate" it. To find out more about it look for my upcoming #EpEx14 post on it as it replaced the Taste of Chicago on our list due to the Taste being closed on the day we chose to go. I can promise you it's going to be a great read! (pun intended)

Ingrid Michaelson at Summerfest
As I've mentioned many times before, we went to Summerfest at the end of June and beginning of July. We were so fortunate to listen to a lot of great music but I also was super lucky in that I got to see one of my favorite artists of all time, Ingrid Michaelson! I love her cute, quirky, edgy, bubbly, sometimes dark (as she so claims) style of music. My absolute favorite song by her is "You and I," which of course she played at the concert, and it was one of the cutest things I think I've ever seen/heard! I was too busy singing my heart out and enjoying the music to take a video of it, and I didn't get the best pictures from the concert, so here is a very adorable YouTube video of the song for you guys to enjoy.

Hello Sunshine Phone Case from Kate Spade
If you haven't heard already, my phone decided to take a swim a couple weeks ago. I ended up upgrading to the iPhone 5s, which meant I had to go buy a new phone case! I was in a slight rush, but needed to pick something in fear of breaking my phone again, but I struck gold (pun intended again...sorry I'm full of them today) with this Hello Sunshine phone case from Kate Spade! I got it at Nordstrom for $40, which made me cringe, but I said "why not splurge...it's been a horrible day." So, that's exactly what I did. However, I really do love it and it's super durable!

So in all reality, Sarah Belle is one of my favorites in my "web" category every month. She is a beauty and fashion YouTuber who is a KAPPA DELTA! Woot woot, shout out to the green and white! Anyways, I've been following her channel for a long time now, and I love listening to her advice about beauty and fashion products. I'm not going to lie, I listen to her recommendations and try out a lot of the products she talks about. She's been living in LA this summer, and her adventures have been really fun to watch!
