I think everyone can say they've all had more than their fair share of mornings where they feel and look dreadful from not getting enough sleep for one reason or another. We also all would like to know how some can fix themselves up to look like they never have those kinds of mornings, right!? Well here are a few tips for helping you to always look your best early in the morning after a fun night out, too!
1. Pound the water
Yes pound the coffee, but definitely pound the water. It will help your skin get it's bright and beautiful glow back, clear up that headache you might have, and just all around make you feel better. Also splash some on your face. That'll be a nice wake up call and will help get any excess makeup off from the night before.
2. Makeup
If anything, throw on some eye makeup, concealer, and blush. The eye makeup will truly make you look more awake. The concealer will take the dark circles and puffiness away from under your eyes. And lastly, blush will add some life in to your face. Voila, you look like the happy and bright woman you usually are without the full on makeup routine.
3. Stretch
Do a few morning stretches when you first get out of bed. It will take 1 minute. Stretching gets the blood flowing and will help you feel more awake almost instantly. Worth the 1 minute, right?
4. Go comfy but not dingy
Wearing sweatpants to class or your appointment after a rough night? That's gonna be the huge tell tale sign that you had a rough one, so don't do it. Go "comfy" but not dingy. I don't have faith in the whole world, but I have faith in all you classy ladies that are reading this that you don't go out of the house to run errands and go to appointments in your PJs. It takes just as much effort to put on a comfy pair of jeans as it does a pair of sweatpants. If you're going to the office, then go for a nice pair of slacks, a dressy tank, and a cardigan instead of the pencil skirt, button up, and elaborate jewelry.
5. Take a vitamin
If you were out drinking the night before, the alcohol took away all your vitamins. Or even if that's not the case and you were just up late finishing up work or had some personal things to take care of, vitamins will help fix the low on energy problem. Your body needs them to function properly. So man up and pop one with your breakfast and be on your merry way!
Happy Thursday, Mug Night, Thirsty Thursday, or whatever you may call this day!
