Need a good laugh? Need a good read for your commute to work? Need a good book for the beach? Need a good book to end your day with? Are you getting the picture yet? Bossypants by Tina Fey was a GOOD book. While I was reading it I could hear her voice in my head (or you can listen to the audiobook, which is actually narrated by her) and it made it even that much funnier. This book is her personality, which is why I loved it so much. In general, Tina is just such a real person. There's no bullshit to her. (Excuse the language), but it's so true. this book is very useful. She talks about how to be successful in your job, be a loving parent, and be a good friend. You aren't going to get that from the E! channel, just saying. Most importantly, you can really tell that Tina has come to terms with not giving a crap if people don't like her, which to me is very admirable because it's true, not everyone is going to like you. And that is really hard to come to terms with. I definitely struggle with that. This is a great, quick read that is inspiring the whole time you're laughing. You'll literally be laughing out loud. She has quotes from 30 Rock in it, her favorite sketches from SNL, and her own hilarious thoughts on life. There's no shame in smiling or laughing in the corner of your Starbucks while reading this.
Read it, I know you'll love it!
