Alright friends, I'm probably going to sound like I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. Radar in Portland is one of the best restaurants in America. It was definitely our favorite meal on our trip to Portland, and all of me wishes I could eat here weekly. So without further ado...I give you Radar!
Food + Drink - A+
So like I said this was our last meal of our trip in Portland. I guess we saved the best for last and didn't even know it! We were both pretty exhausted by this point and drained of money so we decided to not drink and just order an entree. I think we both kind of regretted that decision because of how good our entrees were! I can only imagine they make the best drinks there and I bet the appetizers are mind blowing, too. Anyways, I ordered the smoked pork shoulder and Ashlyn order the brisket. Both of our meats were so tender they fell apart and melted in our mouths. It was literally heavenly. My pork shoulder had a chili paste bbq sauce on it which was placed on top of cheesy grits. It was seriously perfection. Guys, even the little chick peas they gave us before our dinner came were incredible. Radar is the best kept secret in Portland, I cannot wait to go back and bring Caleb.
Ambience + Atmosphere - A+
Radar was a rather small establishment but they made it work. It's long and narrow with seating all along the wall and windows. You can also sit at the bar top and watch all your food being made. It's modern inside (like all of Portland) but still very cozy. We asked the host how they accommodate more than tables of 4 and they said they are able to push tables together up front to seat around 10-12, so that is something to keep in mind if you want to go with a larger group.

Overall Impression - A+
So as you can probably tell from everything I've already said that Radar is my favorite restaurant in Portland, and makes my top list of restaurants anywhere. In my opinion, Radar is a Portland gem and I can't wait to go back every single time I go visit my best friend in PDX. We truly did save the best for last!
Radar is located at 3951 N. Mississippi Ave. Portland, OR

Location + Transportation - A+
Like all the other places we went to in Portland, we drove to Radar. This restaurant is in the Mississippi/Boise neighborhood of Portland and is really small and quaint. We were able to park for free on a side street but had to walk a little bit. We didn't mind though because there were so many cool houses to look at!
Extras + Details - A+
I suggest making reservations if you want to dine at Radar because like I said and you can see from the picture, it's small. The staff is also incredible. They were so friendly and really made us feel welcomed. Radar accepts cash and all major credit cards.
